Former majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu believes that Ghanaaians will vote for former vice president, Dr. Bawumia to make him the next president of Ghana.
The former majority leader’s comment was made known in an interview on Sompa FM monitored by Gh Page.
Following their lose in the 2024 general election, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu disclosed that an investigation was conducted and it was discovered that their lose had nothing to do with the flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia.
He said “From the investigations and research we conducted after the 2024 elections, particularly findings from the Ashanti Region, it is clear that our loss was not the fault of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia”.
He however revealed that “Our loss was mainly due to external factors, including governance challenges, disunity within the party, and lapses in the management of the electioneering campaign”.
According to Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Ghanaians love Dr. Bawumia so much that he is very optimistic that they will vote for him to make him the next president of Ghana.
“Ghanaians like Dr. Bawumia, and I am confident that they will vote for him in 2028”, he concluded.
