I want to improve the fortunes of Education in my electoral area – Assembly member

The Assembly member for the Asiri Electoral area in the Jaman North District of the Bono region, Hon. Mfodwo Barnabas has disclosed his readiness to improve the growth and future of education among the youths in his electoral area. The Assembly member who has over the years facilitated the distribution of educational materials to some selected schools in his electoral area has this year made donations of exercise books, football, metal football posts, and other educational items that will enhance teaching and learning to ensure all students in his electoral area have what it takes to go to school without stress.

Hon. Mfodwo Barnabas presented a total of 200 exercise books to his electorates with 150 exercise Books donated to Asiri R/C JHS, a pair of netball poles, a football, and 50 exercise books to orphans.

Speaking to newsmen after the donation, he emphasized that education and sporting activities have become the backbone of every country and household hence it will be important to invest in these two aspects of life to ensure the growth and development of the country and the people stressing that, he is keen to ensure the increasing growth rate of education and other sporting activities, therefore he shall continue to assist his electorates to gain the requisite knowledge for better future.

Hon Barnabas again counseled the students to stay away from all activities that retard education and focus on learning hard to achieve a better future. He again cautioned the female students to stay away from sexually related activities to prevent teenage pregnancy and other sexually transmitted infections that may hinder their wish to attain higher heights in their educational career for a better future.
