Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has rubbished his summon by Manhyia.
Chairman Wontumi’s counsel, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has rubbished his summon by Manhyia.
The lawyer incurred the wrath of the Asante chiefs when he called them thieves who takes pleasure in tarnishing the image of Asante.
His attack on the chiefs was his reaction to accusations made by one of the chiefs, Kokosohene Nana Kwaku Duah that Chairman Wontumi has disrespected Otumfuo.
The attack made the Kumasi Traditional Council add the lawyer to the people needed at Manhyia for questioning.
On Monday during the Kumasi Traditional Council gathering, one of the chiefs dirtied Lawyer Maurice Ampaw and called for his presence next week to answer some questions.

This has triggered Lawyer Maurice Ampaw to release more fire on them.
In an interview on Accra based Kasapa Fm, he said he will not honor the summons.

According to the lawyer, they have already prejudged the case without listening to him so he will not go.
He then blasted the chiefs again that they have taken advantage of the absence of Otumfuo to fight their personal battles against Chairman Wontumi.
