Tiwatope Savage-Balogun, also known as Tiwa Savage, a popular Nigerian Diva, has sparked outrage online when she said at a recent gig in the United States that males have broken her heart too many times and she is done with them.
Tiwa Savage spoke up on her romantic life while singing her 2022 mega hit song, ‘Somebody’s Son,’ in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on Thursday. The artist said that she is no longer interested in having relationships with f#ck lads. She said she had been given breakfast innumerable times and had her heart shattered.
“I am done with f#ck dudes in my life,” she added in her own words. Breakfast is not something I cut. They’ve shattered my heart on several occasions. They’ve talked a lot of nonsense about me before, and I’m still doing OK,” she remarked.
Last year was a difficult year for the singer, as she made headlines after a s3x video controversy, which she had previously disclosed to her fans. A blackmailer was attempting to extort her with a s3x recording of herself and her partner, according to the singer. She, on the other hand, admitted it, took charge of the tale, and moved ahead of it before it engulfed her.
Tunji Balogun, Tee Billz, her former business partner, was previously married to the mother of one. On Saturday, November 23, 2013, in Lekki, Lagos State, they celebrated a star-studded traditional wedding. Their White Wedding took place at the Armani Hotel in Dubai a few months later in April 2014.
A year after their wedding, the couple had their first child. Until the light of their marriage mysteriously faded out in 2016, they were perhaps one of Nigeria’s most renowned celebrity couples. In March 2018, the singer filed for divorce, putting an end to their romance. They have been co-parenting their 6-year-old son, Jamil Balogun, since their divorce.
