I’m surprised for not being part of the Black Stars Squad – Nkansah Lilwin
Kojo Nkansah, also known in Showbiz as Lil Win, has voiced his disappointment at being left out of the Black Stars’ official roster for the next World Cup qualifier against the Super Green Eagles of Nigeria. Following the official release of the Black Stars’ invited players for the vital match, the New Edubiase player detailed what he would add to the team if called up.
“It gets risky for opponents when I am in a game.” I was injured and will be playing now that I am completely recovered. At the very least, they should have contacted me. We must be truthful. I’m not sure why I wasn’t summoned. Take a look at the ball I’m juggling.” Asempa Sports was informed.
Kojo Nkansah was perplexed as to why a local player, such as himself, was not invited. Local players, he continued, might potentially provide the squad with greater choices.
“They should have also included the goalie of Accra Hearts of Oak and myself.”
When Dede Ayew is suspended, the New Edubiase winger feels it would be an ideal opportunity for him to assist the club qualify on the field.
“We all own the Black Stars.” We want to improve the team as a whole. Nigeria is a low-cost country. If I had been invited, we could have scored five goals. I’m now in Kumasi. I should have been called now because Dede Ayew and company are no longer in the game.”
On the subject of New Edubiase’s sale, Kojo Nkansah explained what may have happened if the team had changed hands. He alluded to a long-standing ambition to purchase Accra Hearts of Oak.
“If New Edubiase had been sold, I would have been sold as well.” I’m considering purchasing Accra Hearts of Oak. The talks are still going on. They have yet to me an exact price at which I am willing to purchase and operate the club. I’ll know what to do with Sulley Ali Muntari when I purchase Accra Hearts of Oak. This isn’t Chelsea at all.”
Before the start of the current season, Kojo Nkansah Lil Win joined with New Edubiase in Division One. Many people were surprised that he could wear a jersey and play for his mew team. At Bekwai Gyamfi Park, Kwadwo Nkansah made his New Edubiase debut versus Unistar Academy.
He joined the action few minutes to the final whistle after substituting Richard Acheampong.
