An immigration officer, Musah Abraham, was killed in a car accident this afternoon.
According to a source, the deceased was participating in an operation along the Akatsi-Aflao route as JRA 3 in the Immigration service.
The deceased was a member of the Aflao-based GIS collecting team.
They were able to capture oils that were allegedly brought into the nation in a commercial truck during their investigation.
He was in charge of transferring the confiscated products to the company’s headquarters in Aflao, where the accident happened.
According to the source, they enlisted the help of a driver who usually transports confiscated items to their Aflao headquarters.
The driver lost control and slammed into an articulator truck parked on the side of the road shortly after leaving the area where the products were confiscated.
