Include Afriyie Banieh in the 18-man squard-Ghanaians reacted after his first game

Ghanaians have urged Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo to include locally based Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in Ghana’s 18-man squad to represent the country at the Qatar FIFA World Cup.

Expressing their views after Ghana-Switzerland friendly happens on Thursday, November 17, 2022, some supporters of the national team were confident that the striker can perform as expected of him per his performance in the friendlies.

Afriyie Barnieh is a striker with the locally based Hearts of Oak and he is among two players called by the coach to be part of the team aside from Asante Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim.

Ghana Black Stars beat their Switzerland counterparts by two goals to nil in a friendly game held at the UAE.

Goals were all scored in the second half by Mohammed Salisu and Antoinette Semenyo.
