The Chief of Bimobas community in the Ashanti Region, Chamba Mohammed Lambo Tintaanwekit (I) has charged the Finance Minister Hon Ken Ofori-Atta to include Kayayie’s welfare in the Budget and IMF deal and called on President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo to immediate Support Kayayei’s in the country who voted him into power.
Speaking in an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwarteng, Nana Chamba advised kayayie’s in the country to desist from bad behaviour and criminalities.
Meanwhile, Gonja Queen Mother of Bouho Nana Maily Issah appealed to government to give Kayayei’s business Identification Card and take the education & welfare of Kayayei seriously by giving them the need support.
