An Indian man living in Ghana who has been identified as Dan Mani has allegedly ended his life in his room in Sefwi Bekwai.

According to Kessben FM’s reporter, Mr. Akpala, the Indian had lived in Ghana for close to 2 years.

Reporting on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah, Mr. Akpala narrated that Dan in recent times had plunged into smoking and drinking after his wife who lives in India called to threaten him that she will divorce him if he does not return to India.

The Indian reportedly informed his colleagues at work and his landlord about the situation. They tried to help him but he continued still smoking and drinking until his demise.

According to the neighbors, his wife eventually informed him that she had divorced him, triggering him to allegedly commit the suicide.
