The Ursula Foundation aimed at eliminating drop out and empowering women in Ablekuma West Constituency so need to support such a laudable initiatives.
Speaking at the sidelined of the launch of Ursula Foundation, the CEO of NEIP Mr Kofi Ofosu Nkansah reiterated that the purpose of supporting the foundation was due to a great vision Hon Ursula has for the people of Ablekuma West Constituency.
According to him, his contributions to the Ursula foundation was in a right direction being a young man and believes in investing and empowering the youth specifically women.
Meanwhile in her remarks, Hon Ursula Owusu Akuffo hinted that the Ursula Foundation, launched is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at driving community development, youth empowerment, and women’s empowerment.
The foundation’s mission is to create lasting impacts in Ghana’s communities through sustainable development initiatives, starting from the Ablekuma West Constituency.
“My journey—from being a charcoal seller to serving in public office—serves as a guiding light for those seeking a brighter future” she lamented.
The foundation’s legacy project stems from the support and motivation I received from numerous individuals throughout my life, leading me to extend a helping hand to others.
According to her, the Ursula Foundation focuses on four thematic areas: Entrepreneurship, Education/Literacy, Sustainable Livelihood, and Social Protection.
She stated the key programs under the foundation include U-push enterprise support, STEMnovation, scholarships, civic engagements, skills training, access to credit facilities, and support against gender-based violence.
“Regardless of political, religious, tribal, or social affiliations, the foundation aims to provide equal opportunities for all residents of Ablekuma West. Sustainable progress requires a political strategies and long-lasting solutions” she enumerated.
The Ursula Foundation, focuses on empowering communities in Ablekuma West constituency specifically Dansoman.
According to her, the initiative revolves around four key areas: Entrepreneurship, Education/Literacy, Sustainable Livelihood, and Social Protection.
The foundation’s vision is to ensure equal opportunities for all, transcending political, religious, tribal, and social boundaries.
According to her, the collaboration beyond politics is essential for lasting change, as public officials alone cannot achieve transformation.
She extended her heartfelt gratitude remain to all for making this event a success.
