Actress Kyeiwaa reveals that she sells banku in the United States and that it is better than the movie business in Ghana.
Rose Akua Attaa Mensah, well known in Kumawood movies as Kyeiwaa, a Ghanaian actress, has filmed herself on camera alerting certain Ghanaians about a new work she is performing in the United States of America.
Kyeiwaa, a veteran actress, has revealed a fresh revelation that has sparked a lot of debate among Ghanaians. She has made her work in the United States of America public. She has likened her company in the United States to her movie business in Ghana, and she claims that she is doing well in the United States.
Actress Kyeiwaa disclosed on her YouTube profile that she sells banku in a restaurant in the United States of America. She said that movie producers in Ghana had abandoned her and that she would no longer be considered for film parts.
She also mentioned that the pay from the films in which she appeared was not promising. Kyeiwaa claimed that if she hadn’t found a method to travel, she would have died in Ghana by now. What are your thoughts on this news? Leave your thoughts in the comments area.
Some of her old Kumawood actresses and actors, however, who visited the United States of America, recorded and photographed her. They’ve sent these photos and videos to Ghana, where they’re saying horrible things about her new work and how it doesn’t fit her. According to Kyeiwaa, these actors and actresses sit on television and radio and make disparaging remarks about her work.
People should quit complaining about actress Kyeiwaa since they have no idea how much money she was making as an actress in Ghana.
She said that the money she earned as an actress was little in comparison to what she earns now in the United States of America. She said that her own people had rejected her, saying that she had insulted several producers, and that she had not been called upon to perform in films for approximately five years.
It was just a producer named Ninja, she said, who claimed she had never offended any producer and was working with her. Kyeiwaa claimed that there was a point when her fellow actors and actresses told her that she shouldn’t be cast in films since her heyday as a fine actor had passed her by. So it angered her that these same individuals are now insulting her work in the United States.
“I would have been dead if I still lived in Ghana. Stop gossiping about me working in a restaurant in America. If I prepare banku and sell what is your problem about it. How were you treating me when I was acting with you. Getting a restaurant job to do in Ghana is not easy. Stop saying necessary things about me and let me live my life in peace”.
