The rate at which female celebrities in Ghana have resorted to quick fixes to make themselves look good for social media has become alarming.
They have gradually recruited young women into believing that a lady must have a flat tummy and a heavy backside before they can be seen as women.
The likes of Nana Ama Mcbrown, Salma Mumin, Moesha Buduong, Sandra Ankobia and just recently Fella Makafui have all done surgical procedures to make themselves look good.
One of the most common procedures these ladies go through is BBL and Liposuction.
Liposuction is a type of surgery. It uses suction to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes these areas.
That process is called contouring. Other names for liposuction include lipoplasty and body contouring.
A Brazilian butt lift (BBL) on the other hand is a surgery where a doctor transfers fat from your belly, hips, lower back, or thighs to your buttocks.
The result is more of an hourglass-shaped figure, with larger buttocks. It’s not an actual “lift” because it doesn’t try to raise your buttocks.
Instead, it increases volume. A BBL can give you a smaller-looking waist if the fat comes from your belly or lower back.
Some fans of talented actresses, Jackie Appiah and Nadia Buari have praised them for not going under the knife to enhance their bodies.
