A celebration of life of African icon photography by Nubuke Foundation and Nii Obodai Nuku studio marked James Barnor@95 in grandstyle with exhibitions.
Speaking at the news conference to outline activities to mark James Barnor @95, former minister of information Hon Friz Baffour hinted that Mr Barnor started actually in active journalism and media work when he was 13. So as far back as that he known most of the very great Ghanaian journalists.
He said the celebration will start with Myx Quest collection of James Barnor photographs Ghana Club.
The Ghana Club will showcase 35 works by James Barnor from the collection of Ghanaian music producer Myx Quest.
According to him, there will be opportunities for photojournalism of a day workshop at the e-Ananse, Accra Metropolitan Assembly led by photographer Nii Odzemma and Barnor gallerist/ publisher.
He added that the activities will climax with a publication of James Barnor at 95 anthology loatad.
Hon Friz Baffour urged upcoming journalist to tap into the knowledge of uncle James Barnor style of selfless and dedication to service to the nation with hardworking.
Meanwhile Mr James Barnor tasked journalist to standby their credibility as journalist and stop being used by selfish politicians.
