The gesture formed a key highlight of this year’s Farmers’ Day celebration across the Dormaa stool lands.
The support included essential tools and materials that farmers rely on ranging from cutlasses and protective gear to seedlings and fertilizers. For many beneficiaries, these items arrive at a crucial time, helping them prepare for the next farming season with renewed confidence.

Nana and elders of the Dormaa Traditional Council emphasized that the contribution reflects a long-term commitment to strengthening agriculture, which remains the backbone of the local economy. They noted that empowering farmers is not only an investment in food security but also in the overall development of the community.

Farmers who received the inputs expressed appreciation for the initiative, calling it a timely intervention that will reduce operational costs and improve productivity. Many highlighted that such gestures motivate them to work harder and continue contributing to the region’s growth.
