Lilian Owusu, the widow of the late John Kumah, has remarried, beginning a new chapter in her life years after the former public figure’s death.

The event’s details were kept under wraps; nevertheless, a flier showcasing the married couples has since circulated on social media, gaining public attention and prompting online comments.

A flier thanking attendees at the ceremony has gone viral on social media, and it identifies her husband as Samuel Aryeequaye.

“Thank you! Samuel Aryeequaye & Lilian Owusu are deeply thankful for your presence at our engagement ceremony. Your support, love, and well-wishes mean more to us than words can express. God bless you abundantly.

“A cord of three strands is not easily broken, Ecclesiastes 4:12,” the flyer reads.

The news of her remarriage brought about diverse reactions, with many Ghanaians expressing well wishes and support. Others, on the other hand, have had public discussions about mourning, healing, and moving on after loss.

John Kumah was well-known for his contributions to public service.

His passing sparked an outpouring of sympathy among colleagues, New Patriotic Party (NPP) followers, and the general public, with many complimenting his dedication and effect.

He met Apostle Mrs Lilian Owusu, the founder and senior pastor of Disciples of Christ Ministries Worldwide, in 2005 and married her a year later.

The widow and John Kumah had six biological and foster children.
