John Dramani Mahama, one of Ghana’s most storied political figures has cemented his legacy in the nation’s history as the most decorated and complete politician.
He has reclaimed the presidency and steered his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to a commanding two-thirds majority in the 9th Parliament.

The Rise: Assemblyman to Member of Parliament
Mahama’s political journey began at the grassroots level as an Assemblyman.

Undeterred, he mounted another bid in 2024 which fortunately for him, he culminated in a decisive victory against the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
