    Government worker are expecting to see a reflection of COLA on their July salaries but due to the late agreement of the cost of living allowance, CAGD could not updated their system to input the COLA.

    The July validation window has been opened for validators to validate their staff

    Report reaching us indicates that the Cost of living allowance was not paid after the agreement between the unions

    According to the terms and conditions of agreement, the cost of living allowance is effective 1st July 2022.

    However, due to the late agreement on the payment of COLA, an unconfirmed report shows that the Controller and Accountant General (CAGD) had already inputted the details of this month’s payment Which means cost of living allowance might be paid at the end of August 2022
