Recall that on 5th December, a disturbing video from Kade Senior High School in the Eastern Region showed a set of unruly students physically assaulting a teacher who had reportedly intensified disciplinary measures on campus.
According to preliminary information, the attack was triggered by the teacher’s firm stance on maintaining order among the students, an approach that has angered some of them.
Well, the five suspects involved in the brutal assault of Michael Quayson, a teacher at Kade Senior High Technical School have been arrested and appeared before the Kade District Court yesterday.
The individuals, who were arrested on January 5, pleaded guilty to the charges.
Four of the accused, who are above 18 years of age, were remanded into prison custody, while the 17-year-old juvenile was remanded into police custody.
They are set to reappear in court on January 20, 2026.
