Fellow Ghanaians, there are truly challenging times globally, and no country including developed and developing countries like Ghana has been spared.

Already, we were putting in efforts toward economic recovery from the devastation wreaked by the Coronavirus pandemic and were being disturbed by supply chain disruptions, surging inflation, and uncertainties in the financial markets, with anticipated hikes in interest rates, caused by the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

This is not the first time an NPP Government with a competent hand at the helm of affairs at the Finance Ministry, working together with the people of Ghana has succeeded in overcoming an economic challenge of this nature. We have demonstrated time and time again our ability to overcome.

Together, we are confronting the macro-economic challenges head-on, and we are stabilizing the economy to set it on the path of economic transformation for all with Ken Ofori Atta as the engine for our transformational vehicle.

The Government, the Akufo-Addo administration, and the Finance Ministry led by the proven Ken Ofori Atta is determined to turn things around and have the skills, discipline, and compassion to do it.
