The former assembly member who doubled as a senior reporter with Oyerepa 100.7 FM/TV in Kumasi metropolis anchor as executive director of Kofi Adade foundation has presented thousands of exercise books, pens and pencils for students and pupils in ten schools within the three district assemblies and one municipalilty in the Ashanti region which includes, Sekyere Kumawu,Sekyere east, Atwima Kwanwoma and Ejisu municipality.
Speaking to Newsmen sideline of the presentation, Hon Kofi Adade underscored the need for the government for taking bold steps in implementing the free SHS program and appeals that it should start from the basic school where a lot of school children are confronting with financial challenges.
In his remarks, after receiving the items the headmaster of Nsutam near Effiduase in Sekyere east district, Mr Amos Berko on behalf of the students expressed gratitude to the executive director of Kofi Adade foundation for the support which will go a long way to promote quality education.
Meanwhile Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwuma,chief of Effiduase Nsutam commended Hon Kofi Adade for the support and encourage others to follow suit.
