Ghanaians have been urged to always focus on the benefit of the easter festivity celebrated at Kwahu in the eastern region.
The Kwahu Easter has gained popularity not only in Ghana but in the diaspora due to the variety of activities held to mark the celebration. It draws revelers from different parts of the world to the communities in the Kwahu enclave in the Eastern Region. Kwahu Paragliding Festival is also an annual event held during Easter. Seasoned Pilots from around the world are invited to fly hundreds of people during the 3–4-day event at Kwahu Atibie. The event has over the years flown thousands of people and given them memorable experiences.
Speaking in an interview with angel news’ Kwadwo Baffour to admonish merrymakers, Mr. Paul Oscar Ankomah aka Oscarpak, who is the Patron of used Clothing Dealers Association, said Ghanaians should focus on the tourist sites, education aspect, the entertainment aspect and how the festivity can boost the economy of the country and the various towns in the eastern region especially Kwahu.
He seized the opportunity to admonish drivers to be careful during and after the festive season, adding that, the youth should refrain from other social vices as they observe the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
