“I’ll never legalise same sex marriage” – Akufo-Addo said this and it was published on Aug – 09 – 2018 , 13:03 on graphiconline.com by Donald Ato Dapatem.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has given the clearest indication yet that the government has no plans to change the existing laws of the country to legalise same-sex marriage.
He said his administration had no authority and would not seek any authority to touch the existing laws of the country to make way for LGBT practices in Ghana.
But it is flabbergasting to see an alleged office of LGBT in Accra recently in the 2nd term of the president Akufo Addo’s government in 2021 precisely.
Most people have started commenting on this office operations but the government and other security services are not discharging any enforcement to scrutinize the mission and the owners of that office.
Though majority of people are responsible to remember what the president has been saying about same sex marriage and the LGBT practices in Ghana, they are seeing the president and his government being silent on the issues arising about that office.
