The family feud surrounding the properties of the late Kumawood icon, King Aboagye Brenya, continues to gain momentum as his son, Acheampong Atansa, has emphatically refuted claims that his late father married Maame Grace.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Rashad of GhPage Media, Mr. Atansa insisted that Maame Grace was nothing more than an employee of the deceased movie icon.

Mr. Acheampong Atansa disclosed that he was personally involved in the arrangement that brought Maame Grace into his late father’s circle.

“Maame Grace served as only a worker to his late father and not a wife,” Mr. Acheampong stated.

He added that he was “even part of the people who saw to it that Maame Grace was employed as a matron at their late father’s school.”

He boldly challenged any doubters to meet with him personally so he could show them evidence that Maame Grace was on the school’s payslip.

Mr. Atansa further revealed that Maame Grace’s presence in their home was initially due to humanitarian reasons.

He alleged that she only came to live with them after they discovered she was facing accommodation problems.

Once she moved in, Mr. Acheampong and his siblings treated her like family, considering her an elder sister.

He claimed that they ensured she “lacked nothing” and even entrusted her with their room keys when they went out.

Mr. Acheampong maintained that he lived under the same roof with his late father and Maame Grace and stated categorically that “there’s no day his father wedded her.”
