The fresh National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), elected over the weekend, Chairman-General Asiedu Nketia alias Mosquito undertook his first official assignment today Monday 19/12/22.
He led the NDC’s presumptive flag-bearer for the next election, President John Dramani Mahama, to attend the final Adua of Comrade A U Farouk of Tamale North; who met his premature death at the Legon hospital Accra, after a short illness, moments after he arrived from Tamale to attend the NDC congress.
The National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia and HE John Dramani Mahama took turns to console the family of A U Farouk and to extol his contributions as a communicator and Youth Activist of the NDC.
Also present were the retained National Vice Chairman Sofo Azorka, the new deputy organizer of the NDC, Elikem Kotoko, Hon Joyce Bawah Mogtari and Hon Julius Debrah and Yours faithfully MP, Tamale North.
The family and community expressed their profound gratitude to the NDC leadership, rank and file, for their sympathy and support.
