After being raped at gunpoint in a car by three women, a man was rushed to the hospital.

Police in Marondera, Mashonaland East, have initiated a manhunt for three female suspects who are accused of switching off on a guy while holding him at gunpoint not far from Chihota.

The offenders, who were allegedly traveling in a blue Honda Fit, also allegedly robbed the complainant (name withheld) of his cash and belongings.

Inspector Simon Chazovachi, a spokesperson of the provincial police, confirmed the incident.

“Anybody with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is welcome to assist us. To avoid paying such charges, we also urge the general public to consider using public transportation “added Chazovachi.

According to the police, the complainant boarded the car on February 22 while traveling to Beatrice at the Mbudzi roundabout in Harare.

Three women, including the driver, were in the car. The secondary lounge was used by two women.
