Man storms Oyerepa FM, allegedly To Kill Auntie Naa. An incident which occurred in the premises of Oyerepa this morning indicates that a man whose identity is unknown attempted to kill the host of the program, titled “Oyerepa Afutuo”.
The name of the host of “Oyerepa Afutuo” is Eunice Amerley Nortey but she is popularly known in Ghana as Auntie Naa.
The security officer, Mr. Asabre was an eyewitness and narrated the incident to the news correspondent, he said, the man approached and asked him permission to see Auntie Naa.
Since other people also want to see Auntie Naa and have formed a queue, Mr. Asabre told the man to join them.
The man ignored Mr. Asabre’s words and barged into the Oyerepa FM’s newsroom to look for Auntie Naa.
Mr. Asabre together with the other security officers quickly rushed to the newsroom to stop the man.
They held the man and handed him over to the police. The police investigated the incident and found out that, the man is mentally ill.
