Netizens have uploaded pictures and videos of the unusual event, which showed the happy couple performing their marriage ceremony underwater.

As shown in the photographs, the couple was submerged in the water and standing close to the place where a table, cake, and venue had been put up as they were departing.

They were all wearing oxygen masks, which allowed them to breathe underwater for the duration of the event.

When they were done with the exchange of vows and other merriments, the couple posed with their marriage certificate while still underwater.
