A middle-aged Kenyan gym instructor has tragically passed on after he was beaten to death by a soldier for sleeping with his wife while he was on deployment in Somalia.
As confirmed, the soldier identified as Nicholas Ireri returned home unannounced from a Somali mission where he had gone to protect Kenyans from the Al-Shabaab while Alphy Migasha was enjoying his wife.
CCTV footage recorded on December 22nd 2025, shows Migasha seated outside a liquor joint in Umoja One when Ireri approached him.
The two appeared to exchange a few words before the confrontation quickly turned violent.
Ireri is seen forcefully pulling Migasha to the ground and repeatedly assaulting him as shocked onlookers attempted to intervene.

After the attack, the soldier calmly walked away and left the victim helpless and writhing in pain.
Family members rushed Migasha to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, where doctors confirmed he had suffered severe injuries, including fractured ribs, a broken leg, and serious chest trauma.
Family members have started preparing for the funeral as Ireri also awaits sentencing and jail.
