MTN Ghana issues disclaimer regarding SIM registration portal

MTN Ghana has issued a disclaimer regarding SIM registration portal.

A public announcement from MTN Ghana on SIM Registration wishes to inform the general public that a LINK circulating on social media purported to be the official link for the current SIM card Registration is misleading.

According to MTN, their attention have been drawn to a link purporting to be a link for SIM Registration. To clear that misleading statement, the general public should note that the portal is NOT meant for the current SIM Registration exercise as suggested in the messages circulating.

The disclaimer reads;

Registration. Please note that this portal is NOT meant for the current SIM Registration Exercise as suggested in the messages

circulating.

For the current SIM Registration,

Please follow the 2 step process

outlined below to register your

Step 1. Dial *404# and follow the prompt to link your Ghana Card to your SIM

Step 2. Visit an MTN Registration Point for your biometric capture:

You will need:

1. Your Ghana Card
2. Your Ghana Post GPS Address
3. Unique Code (dial *400# to retrieve your unique code)

Remember, the link pictured below which is circulating on social media Current SIM is NOT for the REGISTRATION excercise.
