Chief Executive Officer of JEM Business has announced his political ambition to contest the incumbent MP for Yapei-kusawgu in the Savannah region of Ghana on the ticket of National Democratic Congress.

Meanwhile the Business mogul has alleged that, before he picked the nomination form, there were some consultations and that he has being receiving calls from the national and local , some are from his own camp and others from his opponent side to allow Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor to go unopposed.

But to him he doesn’t understand why they should allow Hon. John Jinapor to go unopposed. He said he’s from the constituency and has worked hard for the constituency, so it is time he contest for the parliamentary seat.

According Hon. Mumumi Iddisah the constituents have made several complaints to him about the abysmal performance of the sitting member of Parliament and that he should come and change things for better but he’s confused now.

Hon. Mumuni Iddisah is a young politician from Yapei-kusawgu constituency born in kulfo a suburb of the Area. He has so many high political ambitious that he want to execute by contesting for the member of Parliament for his constituency.

Yapei-Kusawgu constituency

Yapei-Kusawgu is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana.

The constituency is located in the Savannah Region of Ghana.

The current member of Parliament for the constituency is Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor. He was elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and won a majority of 145 votes more than candidate closest in the race, to win the constituency election to become the MP.

Hon. John Jinapor succeeded Alhaji Seidu Amadu who had represented the constituency in the 4th Republican parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.
