Felicity Ama Agyemang, known as Nana Ama McBrown, is a Ghanaian actress, TV presenter and a music writer.
She rose to prominence for her role in television series called, Tentacles.
Later, she found mainstream
success following her role in many Ghanaian movies known by group called Kumawood.
She recently joined United Television (UTV), hosting one of the hottest entertainment show dubbed, United Showbiz.
Empress Nana Ama McBrown, faced some problems during one of her usual show and disappeared from the show.
Her absence has brought lot of rumours as whether she has been sacked, suspended or arrested by police due the unfortunate hitches she encountered in one of her shows with Bulldog?
Last week, Abeiku Santana hosted the show and in his remarks, he said, he is hosting the show on Nana Ama’s behalf. This expression Abeiku issued indicates clearly, Nana Ama is not sacked and would be back on screens for the show.
Her fans felt uncomfortable when Abeiku sat for her and they have been reacting to the information and claim her absence may be due to the statement Bulldog made on her show which has landed in a police case.
But according to Stephen Atubiga, UTV will make the greatest mistake if they try to take on Nana Ama Mcbrown over that comment because the show is her
signature. He said no body can replace her and make the show as successful as she does.
According to the background checks, Abeiku himself is not happy to see Nana Ama off the show because she has branded the show well and such is pleasing her fans, viewers, management and the advertising prospects.
Definitely, Nana Ama will be back soon to chair the affairs of the show but she is just taking some few off or leave in a way of repackaging the show to the fullest standard that may not encounter any further damages.
