NCC chairman, Elvis Herman Hesse writes

“I ll be much surprise if indeed somebody from the secretariat of our dear Club placed a cal to Mr. Ibrahim Saani Daara, for jux expressing his opinion on Hearts of Oak matters. This is a football Club Saani Daara cherish and has supported since childhood.
Therefore , wants to put on record that I had discussions with Saani Daara on WhatsApp about our Club in the past can attest that he has always defended our Board Chairman and the current Board at all times and even urged me to rally the fans to offer their unflinching support to them and the team, and more especially our revered Board Chairman.
I find it extremely difficult to believe that he was called on phone to explain an article he wrote about our Club ,leadership ,and general performance in the premier Ghana premier league lately. I ll reach out to some of our management members to confirm or deny if indeed they called him or perhaps it may be a friendly and Frank discussions without necessarily questioning why he expressed his opinion and attempted to offer some suggestions to leadership.
However, the new season ll commence soon and I suggest we channel our energies and resources towards energising our support base, reaching out to our fans by assuring them of our commitment and efforts to ensure our dear Club performs well in the upcoming league season and makes Ghana proud in CAF competition’s.
Therefore, all of us must agree to disagree but we must not gag our fans and sympathisers for expressing their opinions cos numbers count a lot in football. personally, i know how difficult it is for many of us trying to mobilise supporters to the stadium.
In addition, we need a United front and all of us must take responsibility in ensuring we achieve our aim for the new season.

Finally, the polarisation must end and all of us should be involved in creating a fabulous atmosphere devoid of insults and name calling and we must all be ready to accept constructive criticism even when we disagree. We are a big family and history obviously reminds us of how we triumph when we are united .
