NDC YOUTH WING SECURES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUTH WING OF GERMANY’S SPD

The Green Army of our great National Democratic Congress has successfully commenced the processes to crystalise a long-standing progressive relationship with the Josus (Youth Wing) of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) of Germany. This relationship is expected to provide the platform for ideological conversations on matters that concern our young people, learning and knowledge sharing, exchange programmes, and support in diverse ways for our young people.

We had the pleasure of receiving the Hamburg Chapter of the Josus from Germany visiting the Green Army this week. They had several engagements and conversations with the hierarchy of the party and the youth wing – the national youth wing, the Greater Accra and Central Regional Youth Wings, the Tema East Constituency Youth Wing, the Patrons of TEIN, etc. They also had dinner conversation with some selected TEIN members.

The SPD Youth Wing expressed their commendation to the Green Army for the laudable initiatives we have embarked upon in the last few years – digitising TEIN and the launch of the TEIN App, the Accra Wave project, the Social Democracy Boot Camp, the various capacity building programmes, and support schemes, etc. Clearly, this visit has emphasised the fact that there is more we can do together for our collective aspirations and future.

We shall update you on subsequent engagements regarding this first-of-a-kind progressive relationship being facilitated by the Green Army. The Green Army is indeed on the RISE. Our footprints are all over for all to see and ever expanding. Let us keep up our good work.
