NO PROPER ROAD NO CAMPAIGN..RESIDENCE THREATENED

The aggrieved resident at akyem new Tafo new road in the abuakwa north eastern region have threatened to boycott 2020 general election if the road leading to Apostle Oko Camp from (Nopras junction) is not fixed. Proper road needed.

According to them they had complained on countless occasion about the nature of their road to the appropriate authorities but still remains in a poor state.

They realized that the member of parliament for abuakwa north also the deputy gender minister Hon Gifty Twum Ampofo awarded a project to contractor through cocoa roads policy and theirs were ignored.

Some of the resident also noted that many pregnant women in labour died while being conveyed to hospital.

They also said the bad road were affecting economic activities in the area as commercial vehicle has refuses to ply the route ,charging exorbitant fares anytime they agreed to render the service.

Speaking to Nopras FM news anchor Awal Adam, they finally urged the member of parliament Hon Gifty Twum Ampofo and the municipal chief executive Hon Twum Ampofo to as a matter of urgency intervene
