NSA BONO REGIONAL DIRECTOR PAYS COURTESY CALLS ON SECURITY COMMANDERS TO STRENGTHEN COLLABORATION
The Bono Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr. Kwame Baa Mensa, has paid separate courtesy visits to key security institutions in the region as part of ongoing efforts to deepen the long-standing relationship between sports and the security services.
The Bono Regional Sports Director called on ACFO Cecil Addo, Regional Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS); Lt. Col. Naah, Commanding Officer of the 3 Infantry Battalion; and Lt. Col. Lambert Alageyia Ajebaworoni, Commanding Officer of the Armour Training School.
The engagements centred on strengthening inter-agency cooperation, enhancing participation in regional sports activities, and exploring new ways to leverage sports as a tool for discipline, fitness, and community impact within the security services.
A key highlight of the discussions was the revival and organization of the Regional Security Games, which are expected to return in 2026 with improved structure, increased participation, and greater regional visibility.
The NSA Bono Region continues to prioritize partnerships with security agencies, recognizing their vital role in promoting physical fitness, unity, and competitive excellence within the region.
