The statement, issued by the NSS Management on June 10, emphasized the importance of following the validation and registration process through the Scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh in order to check for placement.
“All the deployed nurses are therefore required to follow the validation and registration process,” the statement stated.
It outlined the steps to be taken, which include logging onto the Scheme’s website to check for placement and printing the appointment letter.
The nurses are then instructed to proceed to their designated place of posting for endorsement of the appointment letter.
Regional validation and registration for the deployed nurses will commence on Monday, June 12, 2023, and conclude on Friday, June 30, 2023.
These activities will take place at various centers across the country to ensure the smooth process of validation and registration.
Once the validation and registration process is completed, the deployed nurses have been directed to commence their mandatory national service on Monday, July 3, 2023.
The letter highlighted the importance of adhering to this timeline after the successful completion of validation and registration.
The NSS aims to facilitate the transition of graduates into the world of work and to instill in them a sense of nationalism and selflessness.
The mandatory national service provides an opportunity for graduates to contribute their skills and knowledge to the development of the nation while gaining valuable work experience in their respective fields.
By releasing the postings for nurses and providing clear instructions for validation, registration, and commencement of service, the NSS ensures an organized and efficient process for the nurses’ placement and subsequent service.
It is expected that these dedicated nurses will make significant contributions to the healthcare sector during their one-year national service period.
