The Parliamentary Candidate of Odododiodioo NPP, Hon. Dr. Alhaj Abdul Mannaf Sowah, early this morning, graced the commissioning of the Child Care Centre, constructed by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) at Old Fadama.
The facility which was commissioned by the Lady Mayor of Accra, Hon. Elizabeth Naa Kwartsoe Tawiah Sackey is one of the numerous contributions by NPP government to enhance livelihood for the people of Old Fadama.
Speaking on behalf of the community, a rep of the Chiefs remarked that anytime AMA comes to Old Fadama, it is about demolition exercise. “However, this NPP government has proven to do otherwise. Today we have gotten a Child Care Centre. We are very grateful” he remarked.
Dr. Alhaj Abdul Mannaf Sowah assured the people of Old Fadama continuous development in the area. “We will do everything possible to make your livelihood better in Old Fadama. The days of living in fear of evacuation is over. This government is with us and we shall make Old Fadama better” he remarked.
He was accompanied by the Constituency Executive Committee, the Electoral Area Coordinator and Polling Station Officers of Old Fadama.
Award winning musician, Okyeame Kwame also graced the occasion to add variety to the occasion.
