One confirmed dead in Ntinanko accident

A piece of sad news that has landed on social media confirms that one amongst the three boys who were invloved in the horrific motorcycle accident at Ntinanko located at the Manso area in the Asganti Region.

As confirmed by sources, one of the three victims who was receiving treatment at the Manso Nkwanta district hospital has passed on.

The two others are also battling for their lives while they wait to get their legs amputated.

Prior to this heartwrenching news, a video that surfaced on social media showed one of the victims who was in excruciating pain crying and expressing deep regret over disobeying his mother’s warnings not to go out that fateful night.

“My mother told me not to go out… I should have listened,” he lamented as he came to terms with the reality that his legs might soon be amputated.

According to eyewitness reports, the accident occurred when a reckless driver, whose identity remains unknown, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the boys’ motorcycle.

The driver is said to have abandoned his car and fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the victims critically injured.

Hospital authorities have confirmed that all three victims sustained life-threatening injuries to their legs, and two of them are likely to undergo amputation.
