The Odikuro of Kwahu Osubeng a farming community in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region, Nana Agyei Deborah Sasu has charged all the River gods (Nsuo Bosom) in the enclave of Osubeng to act and show their presence in the serial killings in the community.
Nana Agyei Deborah Sasu made this passionate appeal to the River gods when he together with his elders and the chief priest of Osubeng to perform customary rites and rituals in the Osubeng river.
It will be recalled that a fifteen year old boy class five pupil at Osubeng M/A Basic School, Iliasu Amuni allegedly kills his mother Sakina Amuni and dump him in a river Osubeng on 28th October 2022.
The boy, angrily hits his mother with a piece of wood and upon falling down, he uses his knife to stubs his stomach until she died due to the admonishment her mother has been mated iut to him for joining bad friends.
He then drag her mother and dump her body in the Osubeng river.
Speaking after libations and rites has been performed in the river, the Osubeng Chief Priest (Oman komfour) Nana Biamah Asuo said three Sheep were used, together with schnapps and fowls were accepted by the gods for the purification of the Osubeng river.
Also rituals has been performed at where the boy first hit and stub her mother Sakina Amuni to death and her farm produce also moved from the scene for un-ward free movement of pedestrians.

On his side, Nana Agyei Deborah Sasu, Osubeng Dikro urged the River gods to act and reveal the bad spirit who is orchestrating and forcing his citizens to embarking on such vices.

Nana Yeboah Bamfo II, Kwahu Obo Kyeame Panin entreated the citizens of Osubeng to refrain from fears and continue doing their farming activities and their daily chores.
He was quick to advise the youth in Osubeng to desist from taking the law into their own hands, and report who ever maybe to authorities for proper dressing to avert such occurrence in their near future.

Lastly, a brother of the deceased and an Uncle to the suspect, Issah Umoro believed that his sister is taken to heaven and therefore calling for arms to be able to take care of the young children his sister left behind.
