Our Children Are Starving In School, Pay Food Suppliers Immediately To Avoid Any Casualty – Concerned Parents For Free SHS Ghana To Government

Leadership of Concerned Parents for Free SHS Ghana have as a matter of urgency called on Government to pay food suppliers of their required monies to be able to provide adequate food for their wards in schools .

In a release jointly signed by the National Executives of the Association revealed that Buffer Stock Company which is mandated to liaise up with food suppliers in various Seniors High schools to provide adequate food stuffs to them hut there a tango between the duo has led to majority of the food suppliers picket at the Education , Agric and the finance ministries to demand for their monies.

Due to the current situation various schools in the country can not feed their students which is very bad and is given ulcers to some students.

The leadership of the Education Think thank further stressed that politicians in the country should stop politicising the policy before every family have benefited from the policy .

Finally they charged the various ministries responsible for providing food to the various schools to pay suppliers their outstanding GH 278m immediately to avert any chaos in our SHS’s and also charged them to Decentralised the Buffer Stock company in every District.
