Parliamentary Committee On Human Rights Engages Canadian High Commission

The Canadian High Commission, headed by H.E. Myriam Montrat, the country’s High Commissioner to Ghana, met with the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights, which is chaired by Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim.

The interaction gave the Committee and the High Commission a valuable forum to talk about common goals, especially advancing the defense and advancement of human rights in Ghana.

Strengthening collaboration between Parliament and the Canadian High Commission to address important human rights concerns, such as safeguarding vulnerable populations and promoting democratic government, was another main topic of discussion.
