Peter Schmeichel reveals where he thinks Arsenal will finish.
Peter Schmeichel, a former goalkeeper for Manchester United, acknowledges that Arsenal finally appears to be a team capable of placing among the top four.
The Gunners haven’t competed in the Champions League since 2017, after coming very close to finishing in the top four the previous season.
They ultimately lost out to Tottenham for a spot in the competition, though.
However, they have rebounded effectively from that setback by recruiting players like Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus.
Both players and other recent additions have had promising preseason performances and should contribute to the Gunners’ success this season.
In an interview with The Times, Schmeichel made the following prediction about the league rankings at the conclusion of this season:
“The competition will come from Chelsea, and from Spurs, who have signed well and in Antonio Conte have a very clever manager who is so good at getting the maximum out of his players.
“I’m also looking (at) Arsenal and for the first time in a long time thinking “top four”.
