PLEDGING OUR SUPPORT FOR *HON. MOHAMMED MUNTAKA MUBARAK* FOR CONTINUITY

CONCERNED ADEYDETA (TRICYCLE) RIDERS ASSOCIATION OF NDC IN THE ASHANTI REGION

*PRESS STATEMENT*

We, the abovementioned group of the great NDC in the Ashanti region wish to state in no uncertain terms that he has our support as a group for agreeing to continue serving our great region, the Ashanti Region through the support of the good people of Asawase constituency. As we did for the party in the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, we are ready to do more than that to support his candidature in the upcoming 2023 Parliamentary Primaries and beyond.

Considering the fact that Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak fully supported us in performing our duties as scheduled by the Regional Office, endorsed by the regional Chairman of the party during the 2020 parliamentary and presidential elections, we have an obligation to also support him in his vision of helping the party from the Constituency, region and beyond.

He, Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak has displayed undeniably his quest to continuously support in building a formidable NDC in Asawasi Constituency, Ashanti Region and the various Zongos in the Nation as a whole.

We all remember how Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak vigorously fought in getting the Hon Speaker of Parliament for the NDC on that faithful night. He indeed made his constituency, region and the entire nation very happy together with the support of his colleagues. The hope that was purported to have been lost in the leadership of the NDC as a party, was brought back.

Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak through his Empowerment Program has successfully secured meaningful and sustainable jobs for a number of youths from Asawasi Constituency and beyond across various sectors of the economy. Many unemployed graduates became Adeydeta riders, security officers, health practitioners, teachers, businessmen and women due to his guidance and continuous support. Had it not been because of that, many of us today would have been wallowing in poverty.

It is a fact that having gotten some of us empowered today, others would see their’s tomorrow. We only pray for good health and strength for Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak from Almighty Allah, so that he could continue to touch many more lives in his quest to build stronger families as a legislator.

Today, we are the bread winners of our families. If we don’t show appreciation towards such benevolence of Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, then what are we?

We are absolutely convinced that going into the 2024 elections with Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak as the parliamentary candidate of the NDC for Asawase constituency, NDC will have a brighter future than ever in the history of Ghana.

We, at this juncture want to thank the Asawase Students in the Diaspora (ASD) and other well-wishers for supporting the continuity agenda of Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak as the representative of the people of Asawase constituency and beyond.

Ghanaians will never forgive the good people of Asawase and the NDC if they change Hon Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak in these trying times when the party is HUNGRY for power to rescue the citizenry from the mess of this Akuffo Addo-Bawumia administration of the NPP.
