Joshua Alabi: John Mahama is the Messiah who would save
John Dramani Mahama has according to a former campaign manager for the former president.
Considering Mahama’s expertise as a past president and his willingness and availability to lead the nation once again as president, Prof. Joshua Alabi thinks Mahama is a gift from God.
“With the crisis that we have today, experience counts and not just experience but someone who has done it before.
“We, and the good people of Ghana believe, this is the time that we need a Messiah and the Messiah is His Excellency John Dramani Mahama,” Alabi told press men at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) headquarters in Accra.
On February 22, Alabi headed a group to the office to collect nomination papers for Mahama’s ambition to lead the NDC in the 2024 presidential elections.
Despite the fact that he avoided naming any specific individuals, he claimed that none of Mahama’s internal rivals could compare to his pedigree.
“The country needs a hand who knows almost everything, that is why Ghana needs an experienced leader who has done it before and is available and is willing, then we are lucky, he is a gift from God,” he added.
Mahama declares his candidacy and selects the nomination documents.
Many NDC MPs confirmed that Mahama will be running for president for a third time in a row, which led to news of his official desire to do so.
On February 22, Prof. Alabi and the regional chairmen selected the forms in his name amid celebration. In due order, Mahama is anticipated to address the media to publicly announce his candidacy.
Alabi led a delegation that went to the office on February 22 to pick nomination forms for Mahama’s bid to lead the NDC into the 2024 presidential elections.
He said all internal competitors could not match up to the pedigree of
Mahama’s political roots date as far back to the days of Ghana’s independence when his father served in the Nkrumah government.
