Sad news hit Ahafo Region as best midwife dies in road accident

Ghana nurses had a very sad day yesterday as one of their colleagues died in a horrific traffic accident.

Judith Bassoh, a Ghanaian nurse, is a well-known midwife in Ghana. According to a Facebook group named Ghana Nurses, Judith Bossoh was involved in a sad road traffic accident that claimed her life.

It was also revealed that the lovely midwife who died was an extremely hardworking person who had even received the Regional Best Midwife award for the Ahafo Region. She received the prize during the National Commemoration of International Midwifery Day.

This tragic news plainly demonstrates that Ghana as a nation and the Ghana health system have both lost dedicated employees.

“Awful news, we announce the untimely loss of our lovely sister Judith Bossoh. The sad news reached usus at the early hours of yesterday, our sister has been summoned to glory,” the platform said on the post.
