The Ghana Union Movement (GUM) is a political party in Ghana. It was founded by Christian Kwabena Andrews who is also the founder of the Life Assembly Worship Center in Accra.
Mr. Kwabena Andrews during the launch of the party, declared that he is “the new Kwame Nkrumah”.
GUM has been one of the newest political party in Ghana that had television platforms for nationwide campaign broadcast. Due to the campaign message about industrialisation and others, GUM nearly bought floating voters to get glue to itself.
Mr. Kwabena Andrews and his team managed to have offices in almost all constituencies. This facilitated his campaign message to deeply go down to majority of Ghanaian electorates.
Aside, GUM had all parliamentary aspirants who by virtue also spread the aims, vision and mission of the party as well as the leadership.
What buttress the expectation of the party to perform in this year’s polls was the congregants that every-eye was exactly expecting to follow their founder and pastor of their church.
Unfortunately, according to information from some concern electorates, GUM is filing on third position as a provisional results so far. This has prompted people to ask whether his church members did not vote for GUM?
According to the media data report, GUM hardly gets 2 votes in a polling station of the entire constituency. This is a bleeding warning to GUM should electoral commission declares the results, Mr. Kwabena Andrews and his GUM will explode Gummmmmm.
But on serious note, writers still need to know why GUM is descending rather? Does he need to come back next four years? Why Ghanaians don’t like third-party, rather NDC and NPP?
