As rains hit Accra, parts of Tema, Kaneshie, and other areas were flooded.
After almost two hours of severe rainfall, Accra, Ghana’s capital city, has flooded again.
During and after the early Saturday morning rain, Tema Community 25, Golf City, and Kaneshie First Light, STC Headquarters, among other sites, were made inaccessible.
“Cloudiness is forecast over much of the nation this morning, with pockets of rain across southern Ghana,” the Ghana Meteorological Agency said. There may be some short spells of sunlight later. Over areas of the middle and northern sectors, rain is predicted in the afternoon and evening.”
Some locals resorted to social media to vent their displeasure with the flooding:
