Stephen Appiah arrested for allegedly killing his wife. Police have detained Stephen Appiah, a 40-year-old man, on suspicion of killing his wife, Afua Abrefi.

During a violent argument, the suspect allegedly repeatedly struck the wife’s head against a wall, instantly killing her.

It is thought that the event took place on Monday, December 5 at Ofoase Kokoben in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

According to information obtained by Starr News, the defendant wrapped his wife’s body after performing the horrible murder and discarded it in a bush.

When the wife was noticeably absent, family and friends called the police.

Upon investigation, the suspect was arrested and he confessed to killing the wife.

He led police to the scene where the body was retrieved and deposited at the morgue after taking the necessary inventories.

Police put the accused before Bekwai Magistrate court and has been remanded for two weeks to enable police conduct further investigation for proper charges to begin the committal trial.
