‘Stop the malicious propaganda’

Mr Gideon Boako has clapped back at TV Show host MzGee after she rained heavy curses on him over Veteran Actor Psalm Adjeteyfio’s begging audio that has gone viral.

The Vice President’s spokesperson in a post on his official Facebook page reacting to the curses expressed shock at the strong allegations levelled against him by MzGee.

He tagged MzGee’s rant as unnecessary. Mr Gideon stated emphatically that he doesn’t know her. ‘Where from this needless rant from Mzgee. I don’t know you and have never dealt with you in my private or public life’ a part of his post reads.

Gideon Boako revealed he got a hold of the voice note when the husband of MzGee, another media practitioner with the Multimedia Group, Raymond Acquah sent it to him.

According to Dr Gideon Boaku, when he listened to the tape earlier, he could not make the head and tail of it, until Raymond Acquah then finally through a phone conversation explained the issue to him in detail.

After the explanation, he (Gideon) told MzGee’s husband Raymond to make sure his wife or any other person does not publish as he will delve into the matter.

‘Your husband graciously explains the import of it to me in a telephone conversation to the effect that TT had alleged that he is being denied support because of the assistance from the Vice President and some other people including the greater Accra regional minister.

I told your husband that cannot be correct and therefore he should not publish the audio and I will delve into the matter. As at the time, your husband made me understand you had done a story on it but he is going to ask you to put it on hold. I thanked him.

Dr Gideon Boako further stated that he was very shocked when he heard the tape has been played on a radio station and many other articles have also been written about it.
