The 2025 Ghana Theatre Festival Has Officially Started!

The 11th Ghana National Theatre Festival was inaugurated by Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, with the subject “Showcasing the Rich Diversity of Ghanaian Culture Through Performing Arts.”

Through theater, dance, music, and exhibitions, the six-day festival honors Ghana’s cultural legacy while emphasizing the theater’s critical role in national development, education, and storytelling.

The late theater pioneer Mohammed Ben Abdallah’s legacy is also honored during this year’s event.
